The College Vocal Group is a choir made up of students from years 7-12. Students lend their voices to numerous College events, including masses and assemblies.
There are a number of Ensembles and Bands of which students may be members: Concert Bands, Strings Ensembles, Guitar Ensemble, Marching Drumline, That 80s Band and The Jazz Band.
AMEB Music Tutoring is available outside of school hours. Many students can elect to sit the official AMEB exams, gaining qualifications and QCE points.
Instrumental Music lessons are offered to students: Strings, Woodwind, Brass, Percussion, Guitar and Keyboard.
Lessons for the following instruments are available for St Eugene College students:
- STRINGS (Violin, Viola, Cello, Double Bass) Years 3 to 12
- KEYBOARD/PIANO Years 1 to 12
- WOODWIND (Flute, Clarinet, Saxophone) Years 4 to 12
- BRASS (Trumpet, Trombone, Euphonium, French Horn) Years 4 to 12
- GUITAR (Acoustic, Electric, Bass) Years 3 to 12
- PERCUSSION (Drums) Years 4 to 12

Enrolment forms are also available at Student Services. Please be aware that there are limited vacancies for places for some of the instrumental programmes.
Students will leave their class for their allocated lesson time, and a timetable is sent to students and families with this information.
Tuition Fees are invoiced to parents each term, this is a separate fee to yearly school fees. 2025 Tuition Fees are $170.00 per term for a weekly 30 minute group lesson. Private lessons are $340 per term for a weekly lesson.
